After trying several brands of saddles I found the answer for fitting my Paso Fino. Your Featherweight Trail fits my horse and I love it ! Super comfortable and the color even matches my horse!

I ordered my saddle from your company in April 2009. I absolutely love it. I own the Trailmaster. Because of the way that it’s made with the removable pads underneath, I can adjust it when Romeo gains a bit of weight during the summer from all of that pasture grass in Georgia. I ride 2-3 times a week in the rolling hills and mountains of North Georgia. The saddle is not only perfect for my horse but is comfortable for me too. And I’m thrilled that it is so lightweight…16 pounds!

PS…I happened to be trail riding one day and ran into a large group of endurance riders on their Arabians. Romeo did not exactly fit into the group as he’s a Tennessee Walking Horse but the riders all complimented me on my saddle. They immediately recognized it as a Specialized Saddle from Texas!

Wow, am I pleased with this saddle. Not only did you get it to me in time for my big ride, but its PERFECT. I’ve been trying different saddles for over a year. Could have bought 2 brand new ones for all the shipping I paid for. Now, finally a saddle that made perfect sweat marks on my boy, lightweight, soft in the seat and absolutely safe with the bucking rolls as added security. I’m so pleased. You might remember I met you in Walnut Creek, California, a few months ago where you recommended a wide tree saddle for my Morgan gelding, Derby. I traded in the regular tree Eurolight that I had just had for a few months and upgraded to an International, wide tree. And it’s great! Fits him great – no white spots. He really moves out, and his walk feels nice and swinging, his trot big and strong. And today my saddle saved me from falling off! We were cantering up the trail when a pair of flickers flew out of the brush right in front of us. Big sideways spook, but my saddle didn’t move and we continued cantering along nicely. I feel secure and relaxed in my saddle, and that’s saying something on a horse as exuberant and forward as Derby!

I’ve owned my Frankie for a little over two years. We’ve been through about seven saddles with none of them fitting correctly so I figured that I was destined to use thick pads with lots of shims until I met Kathleen Green at the Pomona Horse Expo.
