Specialized Saddles Fitting Cushions provide the load-bearing surface that rests directly on your saddle pad. Each saddle ships with 3/4″ cushions, but you can order 1″ cushions if you horse has narrow withers, or order a 1/2″ set if your horse is wide in the shoulders. Use Specialized Saddles Fitting Inserts between the Fitting Cushions and the bars of your saddle to adjust the fit in all three critical dimensions; Width, Rock and Angle. Cushions sold by the pair.
TW Saddlery Fitting Cushions provide the load-bearing surface that rests directly on your saddle pad. ¾” is the most commonly used size and each saddle ships with this size cushion when ordered. The 1″ set of cushions may be used if your horse has narrow withers, and the ½” set may be used if your horse is wide in the shoulders. Use TW Saddlery Fitting Inserts between the Fitting Cushion and the bars of your saddle to adjust the fit in all three critical dimensions of saddle fit; Width, Rock (arch) and Angle. Cushions sold by the pair.
To measure for the length you need for your fitting cushion flip saddle over, remove any fitting cushions or fitting inserts, and measure the bars starting at the front near the gullet in the middle, extending straight back to the end of the bars in the middle.
