The Featherweight Trail saddles are lightweight weighing 18 lbs. They are very easy to put on the horse and take off as well as lighten the weight your horse carries. English or western rigging is available to suit any riders needs. A short round skirt is also standard as a single layer or double butterfly to provide freedom of movement. The Featherweight Trail features the timeless classic western seat. It is stitched in with soft padding under the seat bones and has a cheyenne roll.

The TW Saddlery Featherweight Trail Saddle makes long rides fun again. Weighing only 18 pounds, the Featherweight Trail is easy to lift and comfortable to ride. It brings what we have learned in a decade of building the worlds most comfortable endurance saddles to the recreational western saddle market. English or western rigging is available to suit any riders needs. A short butterfly skirt is standard to provide freedom of movement. The Featherweight Trail features the timeless classic western seat. It is stitched in with soft padding under the seat bones and a Cheyenne roll.

Featherweight Trail Saddle ships standard with one pair of 3/4″ fitting cushions (pads that run along the bars of the saddle) and a full shim / fitting insert kit.
