Built to help horse and rider move as one, the Shooter provides a secure, close-contact feel without unnecessary bulk. Its deep supportive seat helps riders stay balanced through quick turns, fast accelerations, and fluid transitions while still remaining comfortable enough for long hours in the saddle.

The forward-mounted low horn is angled slightly forward to allow easier gun changes and added clearance during competition while maintaining the traditional western feel riders expect.

At approximately 25 lbs, the Shooter is significantly lighter than many traditional mounted shooting saddles, helping reduce strain on the horse while encouraging freer movement and longer, more fluid stride length.

How do I get the best fit for my horse?

For the most precise fit, many riders choose to order our Fit Kit along with their saddle. Before your saddle is built, we’ll send the Fit Kit so you can take measurements and photos of your horse. Once your saddle is ready to ship, we use those measurements to pre-fit the saddle to your horse before it leaves our shop.

After your saddle arrives, we also follow up through our Photo Fit process to help fine-tune balance, shim placement, and overall fit as needed.
